Osaka Expo 2025 – Tanzania Day
On May 25, 2025, Tanzania proudly celebrated “Tanzania Day” at the Osaka Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The event highlighted Tanzania’s vibrant culture, investment potential, and economic growth.
The celebration featured the presence of key dignitaries, including:
Hon. Kassim Majaliwa, Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania (Guest of Honor), Hon. Selemani Jafo – Minister for Industry and Trade, Hon. Eng. Hamad Yusuf Masauni – Minister of State, Vice President’s Office, Union, and Environment, Hon. FUJII Hisayuki – Japan State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador MIKAMI Yoichi – Ambassador of Japan to Tanzania, And many other distinguished guests and officials.
Participants from various sectors, Tanzanians, and friends of Tanzania residing in Japan actively took part in the event, which featured cultural exhibitions, business forums, and economic discussions organized by the Tanzanian government.
The Association of Tanzania Students in Japan (TSJ) was honored to participate fully, showcasing the unity and engagement of Tanzanians living in Japan.
TSJ leaders and members attended all sessions and contributed to the vibrant discussions and exhibitions throughout the day.
