TSJ Engages in Strategic Partnership Discussions with JVI Co., Ltd.

On February 8, 2026, the Association of Tanzanian Students in Japan (TSJ) held a high-level meeting with JVI Co., Ltd. at the company’s headquarters in Chiba, Japan.

TSJ was represented by Vice-Chairperson, Mr. Marco Marco, and Vice-Secretary, Mr. Marwa Deogratius. The delegation met with the President and CEO of JVI, Ms. Pham Thi Nhung, together with the Representative Director and members of the International Sales Department.

The meeting focused on establishing a long-term partnership that aligns with TSJ’s mission to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer from Japan to Tanzania and to strengthen collaboration between institutions in both countries. Discussions covered professional training and capacity-building opportunities for Tanzanian students and professionals, as well as potential support for development initiatives in Tanzania, particularly in the education and investment sectors.

This engagement reflects TSJ’s constitutional role in working with organizations and institutions to expand academic, scholarship, and employment opportunities for Tanzanians, while promoting professional linkages and international cooperation.

Both parties agreed to move forward toward the development and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership is expected to enhance skills development, support career pathways, and strengthen cooperation among Tanzania, Japan, and Vietnam for mutual benefit.

TSJ remains committed to creating opportunities that empower its members and contribute to national development.
