Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dodoma Being part of the Association of Tanzanian Students in Japan (TSJ) was one of the most valuable moments in my academic journey in Japan. To me, TSJ was not just a student association, but a family built on unity, love, and mutual support, especially while being far from home. Through TSJ, I had the opportunity to strengthen my leadership skills, learn wisdom from past leaders, and witness the joy of our members in supporting and collaborating with one another. Each leadership had its own vision, but one thing that united us was the spirit of unity and solidarity. On this journey, I learned that being a leader is not just about making decisions, but also about being a listener, an advisor, and a bridge that connects people wisdom that I continue to apply in my professional responsibilities today. Today, as a Trade Officer at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, I take pride in the network I built through TSJ. This bond has remained a great asset even after returning to Tanzania, where the friendships and relationships I formed continue to open new doors of opportunity. To new students, TSJ is more than just an association; it is part of your growth journey. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn, collaborate, and build a strong network for your future. I am proud of the current leadership—their efforts are visible and continue to strengthen TSJ. I do not doubt that TSJ will continue to shine even brighter. Our unity is truly an invaluable treasure!
